Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina is an ancient Christian form of prayer being redisovered in our time. In this prayer format, we are invited to listen deeply to the voice of God with "the ear of our Heart," as St. Benedict wrote 1,500 years ago in the opening of his Rule. Through lectio, we read and listen, not for information but for information, which is a heart-centered way of approaching the world. Join other parishioners beginning on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. after Labor Day through May.

The World Community of Christian Meditation

A group of parishioners meets Tuesday evenings and follow a simple format: a teaching on meditation, a meditation period, and a time for discussion. The silent meditation period is the focal point of the meeting. Through it, many discover a deeper sense of the presence of Christ in their lives.
