Dear Parishioners and Friends,

October at St. Anne is a very busy month!! Not only do we have our Parish Bazaar on October 16th, but we have three excellent Adult Education Events this month. A little unusual to have so many, but it seems that everything was just too good to pass up.

Monday, October 24, 2011 – bright and early at 6:30 a.m., our brave men who like to see the sun rise will meet in St. Basil Hall for Ignatian Bible Study. This semester they will be studying Genesis. If you are an early riser, grab your coffee and join them. Books for the course will be available for purchase at $10.00. To register, please contact Andy McStay as listed on the flyer attached.

Saturday, October 29, 2011 – TONI CRAVEN will be presenting “Worship and the Psalms”. Professor Craven will be in St. Basil Hall at 9:00 a.m. until Noon. The fee is $15.00 per person and we will have breakfast items when you arrive. Please pay at the door, but make reservations with me. She is not to be missed if you love Scripture or the Psalms!! See the flyer for more information

Monday, October 31, 2011 – The Gift of the Gospels – the Book of Luke will continue in St. Christopher from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you didn’t come to the Overview, come anyway! Catch up with us by reading Luke 1 & 2 and Matthew 1& 2. Please call me to register so that I have the materials for each and every one who attends if you haven’t come before. See the flyer for more information!

Wednesday, November 9th and January 18th – Packing for the Journey; Catholic Perspective:Hospital, Hospice, Funerals and the Parish Part I- with Deacon David Garvis who will address the hard issues of end of life, hospice and hospitals. What does the church think? What are our directives as Catholics?

Come and find out! See flyer for additional information.
